Compare the complete cost of your business phone system.
A monthly software rate is one part of your telephone budget. Use the same assumptions when comparing your current service with a proposed cloud PBX.
Start from your current complete bill
Identify the telephone subscription, number rental, call usage, maintenance, hardware finance and any other recurring charges. Keep unrelated internet or business services separate unless the proposed quotation also replaces them. Note the remaining contract term and any exit charges before planning a change.
Build the proposed recurring total
- Phone-system software and the number of extensions or simultaneous conversations required.
- Carrier subscription, external call capacity and number charges.
- Expected local, mobile and international call usage.
- Applicable tax, additional storage and third-party licences.
- Any recurring implementation or support services in the accepted scope.
Published CP10 software starts at SGD 39/month with annual commitment. It is not an all-inclusive telephone bill. View every published package rate and exclusion.
Include the one-time cost
Check setup, number moves where eligible, new phones or gateways, headsets, installation, administrator training and existing contract exit charges. A lower monthly rate can still produce a higher first-year total when one-time costs are included.
For a like-for-like estimate: first-year cost is twelve months of recurring charges plus one-time costs, using the agreed payment and usage assumptions. Annual commitment does not by itself establish an upfront annual payment schedule.
Use a comparison you can explain
The website calculator labels a software-only difference when additional costs are unknown. It only estimates recurring savings after you enter other recurring charges, and only calculates the first-year effect after you enter one-time costs. Estimates are guidance rather than a quotation.

Discuss your requirements
Build a budget that compares the same scope
A useful comparison includes the costs your business actually pays. Separate the software package from carrier service, call usage, hosting, equipment and the work required to implement the system. A low software price is a starting point for a quotation, rather than a complete monthly bill.
Recurring costs
List licensing or subscription, hosting where applicable, number and carrier charges, expected call usage and agreed support. Note the billing currency, renewal terms and applicable tax. If usage is uncertain, ask how the estimate was calculated and what happens when demand changes.
One-time costs
Record setup, number porting, devices, headsets, gateways, installation and training separately. Include current-contract exit charges if your provider confirms them. Reusing equipment depends on compatibility and condition; do not count that saving until the assessment is complete.
Features and responsibility
Compare the required call flows, peak conversations, recording, reporting and integrations. An edition that meets one team’s needs may not cover another team’s workflow. Agree who manages changes and upgrades, who responds to incidents and which third-party charges are outside the supplier’s scope.
A quotation review checklist
- Are the selected platform, edition, hosting and capacity written down?
- Are recurring and one-time charges separated?
- Are tax, currency, payment schedule and commitment clear?
- Are recording allowances, retention and any integration licences confirmed?
- Are migration, training, acceptance and support responsibilities included?
- Are assumptions, exclusions and changes requiring a revised quotation identified?
Compare first-year total costs as well as recurring monthly costs. A first year may include setup that does not recur, while renewal pricing or usage can change later. Avoid a savings claim until both current and proposed totals cover the same services.
