Plan finder

How our phone-system plan finder works.

Tell us your extension count, office or call-centre use, and peak simultaneous calls if known. The finder shows a published package without asking for personal details.

Three questions

How the initial match works.

Team size

Office packages provide 10–90 extensions. We select a package that meets your staff count. Larger teams need specialist scoping.

Office or call centre

Office packages are grouped by extension count; call-centre tiers provide unlimited extensions and are grouped by concurrent conversations.

Peak calling

Known peak calls can move the initial match to a larger tier. If unknown, capacity remains subject to assessment rather than an invented telco estimate.

Worked examples

These examples show how the finder's first match is reached. They are illustrations of the published packages, not quotations.

  • A 12-person accounting office with a receptionist and occasional peaks of five or six calls. Twelve extensions is more than CP10's 10, so the first match is CP20 (20 extensions, 8 concurrent calls). If the team will stay small for years, we would still check whether some staff truly need an extension.
  • A 35-person trading company with a sales team on the phone most of the day. CP40 provides 40 extensions and 16 concurrent calls. If sales staff regularly hold more than 16 external conversations at once, a specialist reviews capacity before you order.
  • A customer-support desk where eight agents take calls at the same time. This is better matched by a call-centre (CPSC) tier, which is grouped by concurrent conversations and includes unlimited extensions.

How to estimate peak simultaneous calls

  1. Pick your busiest regular hour, for example Monday morning or month-end.
  2. Count how many people are on external calls at the same moment during that hour, including calls on hold or in a queue.
  3. Add any automated or after-hours flows that may run at the same time.
  4. If you have old phone bills or a PABX report, use the highest figure you can find.

If you do not know, choose "not sure". The finder will not invent a number; a specialist checks capacity with you instead. See extensions vs concurrent calls for more detail.

After you see a match

  • Use "Ask a specialist" to send the match to our team; the enquiry form is pre-filled with your answers.
  • List the numbers you need to keep and your current carrier, so porting can be checked.
  • Note any desk phones, cordless phones, fax or alarm lines you want to keep.
  • Ask for a demo if you want to see the Linkus apps first.

Privacy

The finder runs in your browser and does not ask for your name, email or phone number. Contact details are only collected if you choose to send an enquiry, and they are handled under our privacy policy.

Office package or call-centre tier?

Office packages (CP10 to CP90) are grouped by extension count, with concurrent calls rising with each step. They suit teams where most staff make and take calls as part of a wider job. Call-centre tiers (CPSC Enterprise and Ultimate) are grouped by concurrent conversations and include unlimited extensions, which suits a team whose main job is answering or making calls in a queue. If you are unsure, answer the finder honestly and let a specialist compare both for you; the right choice depends more on how calls are handled than on headcount.

Frequently asked questions

Is the plan finder result a quotation?

No. It shows the closest published package for the numbers you enter. A written quotation after assessment covers telco services, setup and any devices.

What if my team is larger than 90 people?

Office packages go up to CP90. Larger teams and call centres are scoped by a specialist, often using a call-centre tier sized by concurrent conversations.

Does the finder store my answers?

It does not ask for personal details. If you send an enquiry, the form includes your answers so the specialist has context.

Before ordering

What the finder cannot confirm.

  • Number portability, especially PSTN / ISDN and copper lines.
  • How internal calls, transfers, queues and external calls use platform capacity.
  • Telco subscription, call rates, hardware, setup, tax and integration charges.
  • Demo arrangements, payment schedule, support hours, recording reset and retention.

The optional online sales advisor answers general product questions using the existing hosting service. It does not approve porting or create a contract. A written quotation governs paid work.
