PABX migration · Singapore
Replace the cabinet with cloud calling. We assess number eligibility first, then scope the migration, supported devices and telco capacity.
Migration checklist
List your numbers, carrier contracts, staff, call flows and existing equipment. Check number-porting eligibility, connectivity and any fax, alarm or door-phone requirements.
Review the proposed package, scope, setup, hardware, telco and call charges, applicable tax, payment schedule, annual commitment and any current-contract exit costs.
Accept the written quotation and agreed scope before paid service, installation or a number-porting order begins. An enquiry or plan recommendation does not commit you to a purchase.
Configure the agreed extensions, IVR, queues and integrations. Test incoming and outgoing calls, transfers and supported devices before moving your public number.
Confirm the carrier-dependent change window, staff communications and fallback arrangements. Move eligible numbers only after readiness checks and your approval.
Complete administrator and user training, confirm support contacts and acceptance checks, then decommission old equipment when it is safe to do so.
Analog equipment
Existing analog equipment is not automatically compatible with a cloud service. Some devices need a supported gateway; others need a separate service. Do not cancel those lines until the technical assessment is complete.
Your questions
Number portability depends on your carrier, line type and number. PSTN / ISDN and copper lines require a technical assessment. We confirm eligibility before agreeing a cutover.
Supported IP phones or gateways may be reused after a compatibility check. Mobile, desktop and web clients are also available. Analog devices may need gateways.
The LinkusPBX phone-system package. Telco service, external calls, applicable tax, hardware, setup and third-party licences are scoped separately in your quotation. An annual commitment applies.
Ask for a product demo using the enquiry form or sales chat. Our team will confirm availability, timing, the features to demonstrate and any setup requirements. A demo request does not start a paid subscription.
Cloud calling depends on connectivity, devices, power and telco service. We assess backup connectivity, alternative answering arrangements and your fallback requirements during scoping.
Test the agreed routes from relevant external networks, check caller identification and verify answering on the intended devices. The written scope should identify who accepts the result and the support contact after handover.
Prepare for a business-number move and compare the deployment models.
Agree these decisions before the migration date. Name the responsible person and record whether each item is confirmed, pending or not applicable.
| Decision | Evidence before approval | If not ready |
|---|---|---|
| Number move | Carrier eligibility and agreed change window | Keep timing unconfirmed |
| Call routes | Results for agreed incoming, outgoing and transfer tests | Resolve and repeat failed tests |
| Special-purpose devices | Separate assessment of relevant analog equipment | Retain the existing arrangement until assessed |
| Staff readiness | Training and support contact communicated | Complete the missing handover |
| Fallback | Action, trigger and responsible person documented | Do not assume a move can instantly be reversed |
| Acceptance | Named business owner signs off the agreed checks | Keep unresolved items open |
A checklist supports the business decision; it does not guarantee portability or uninterrupted service. Cancel an old service only when the agreed migration conditions permit it.
